Welcome!

Hello! My name is Katlyn Duncan, and it is my privilege to get to work with your children this year. I have been married for 3 years to my husband Chris, and we have two children Ella (7) and Lawson (2).

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia, and Masters in Art of Teaching in Special Education from Valdosta State University. I have ten years of experience in a variety of settings. I worked with students from kindergarten to twelfth grade. My years of experience have taught me the value of patience and encouragement in the special education classroom. I work closely with each student, providing the individualized support and praise they require. I am a strong case manager and advocate for all of my students. I strive to work to stay connected with parents/guardians and service providers involved with my students, to encourage the success of each student, both in and outside of the classroom. I truly appreciated and learned from every child and every family I have worked with; I cannot imagine having any other job.
