Welcome to Mrs. Julie Warner's class!

Welcome to my 6th-grade social studies class!  This is my second year at Jasper Middle School, and I am very excited to start another year.

I am originally from Ohio (Go Buckeyes!), but got married and moved to Georgia after earning my Bachelor's degree at Bowling Green State University. I then earned my Master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Nova Southeastern University.

I taught my first 27 years in Fulton County ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade.  17 of those years were in middle school, where I truly found my passion working with that age group.  My husband and I moved from Alpharetta to Jasper 2 years ago, and I worked 2 years in Cherokee County.  A position opened at Jasper Middle School last year, and I am so thrilled to be working with such a great staff and students. It is also great being closer to home!

I have been married for 34 years and have three grown children.  I also have four grandchildren, 2 girls and 2 boys.  I love spending time with my family!

I LOVE working with 6th grade students, and am excited for the sweet new students this year.  If you ever have questions or concerns, please feel to email me.  I am looking forward to a fabulous year!!
