Georgia Milestones measures how well students have learned the knowledge and skills outlined in the state-adopted content standards in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Jasper Middle School students will test on the following days.

May 2nd - Math Part 2
May 7th - Science (5th Grade Only)
May 8th - Social Studies (5th Grade Only)

JMS Math Team Wins 1st Place Again!
Once again the 6th Grade Math Team won 1st place at the Berry College Math Competition. In the individual competition round, Jeremy Westbrook took 1st place and Eric Malcolm took 2nd place. Congratulations to this group for their hard work and dedication - Julie Hermann, Ada Keener, Coleman Keener, Eric Malcolm, Jeremy Westbrook, Grayson Ludington, Diego Rivera, and Wyatt Richards!
Jasper Middle School FFA
Pickens Junior High Poultry Team placed 1st and will be headed to state competition next month in Athens, GA! The team consisted of high individuals Tre Owens (6th Grade), Amanda Bramlett (6th Grade), 1st high individual Brody Leake (8th Grade), and 2nd high individual Jeremy Westbrook (6th Grade). Even though these kids are from two different schools, but they are one strong team. We are very proud of them!
