PJHS parents, students and families: Student schedules will be corrected by Monday. We are diligently working on balancing classes and placing students in the correct courses. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Your kiddos have been awesome and taken this in stride. Day 1 and I cannot brag on our new PJHS 7th grade class enough! Everyone has been impressed with how kind, polite, respectful, and well-mannered this group of students has been. They have laughed, participated in class, followed instructions, and done so without the typical "teenage attitude". Pickens County School District will once again have a staggered start to the school year. K-6 drop off times begin at 7:30 a.m. and after-school care is available until 6:00 p.m. (contact your school for more information).
Again this year, Pickens County School District will provide basic school supplies to all students.

Pickens County School District is pleased to announce the 2024-25 Principals for Harmony Elementary and Pickens Junior High Schools.

Lunch meals will be offered free to children 18 and under this summer through PCSD's Nutrition Department via PJHS at the kitchen door entrance from 11:30 to 12:00 or PHS Fieldhouse in the parking lot from 11:00 to 11:30. Please see our website for more details.
PCSD will be holding a job fair on April 30th, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Pickens High School. We have many positions open including custodians, food service, bus drivers, and more! We hope to see you there!
